From what we've seen, Github's repository pages don't look very accessible at all, possibly because it's yet another one of those websites that is predominantly powered by side-loaded Javascript that screenreaders can't pick up.
It appears that Twine itself uses a graphical editing system, which obviously won't work if you're using a screenreader, but we did find a page that offers a text-only version of Twine. I've never used it myself, so I can't make any claims one way or the other about it, though.
